DAVID RED FEATHER

David is an entrepreneur, innovator, and artist living and working in Arizona.  Within his art practice, he skillfully concinnates the simple and often overlooked moments of life with a brash, colorful style that embodies artistic freedom and a fun exploration of color, texture, and space.  Having a special interest in mixed media pieces, David's paintings will take you on a journey to a place where urban street art and soft, transparent hues collide into a sea of color.  Balancing organic shapes and bold lines of luminous energy, his art invites audiences to lose themselves within the sabulous elegance of his work.

PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy of Creative Authenticity
True art emerges from a deep connection with one's inner self, reflecting genuine expression.  By embracing the joy of creation, artists remember their role as the originators of their unique visions.  This philosophy champions creativity as a state of being, where each creation embodies the artist's inner truth and boundless potential.

CURRENT SERIES

"My research aims to deepen the understanding of how texture and color together influence the human experience when viewing artwork.  It explores the dynamic interplay between visual textures and colors and how this combination affects our perception and emotional response. By studying how these elements interact to create sensations of vibration and depth, I seek to enhance our comprehension of their combined effects on visual art.

INSPIRATION

Biomimetics and camouflage:
By drawing inspiration from biomimetics and camouflage, my research can explore innovative ways to replicate and harness these natural phenomena in visual art, enhancing the sensory and emotional experience of the viewer.
